BIOGRAPHY
Zara was born in the deepest part of the Legacy Forest, in a grove that has not seen direct sunlight in three hundred years. She was raised by the Forest Keepers — an ancient order of men and women who have maintained the living memory of the St. Peter Studios universe since its founding.
She did not choose the calling of Keeper. The calling chose her, as it always does — through a moment of crisis in which she was the only one present who could act. She was twelve years old when she first spoke a truth that no one wanted to hear. She has not stopped since.
Her gift is not magic in the conventional sense. She remembers everything — not just what she has witnessed, but what the Forest has witnessed. She carries the accumulated memory of generations, and she knows that this gift is also a weight that can crush a person who is not strong enough to carry it with grace.
She is Captain Jamaica's most trusted ally, not because she always agrees with him, but because she never tells him what he wants to hear. She tells him what he needs to know.
